More pictures of the Obamas on the way to the inauguration (this time, now in Washington, D.C. for a concert televised on HBO) can be found on the Flickr page!
I'm so stoked about going into town to be with the gazillion other proud Americans tomorrow! I'm going to freeze my azz off but I don't care! My Metro tix even have pics of O on them! I can't believe how silly I am about this.
Michelle looked beautiful, but I want her hairdresser to get acquainted with holding spray. And I want her makeup artist to rid her makeup kit of anything with a color that could be considered "plum". It makes Michelle look somber.
Someone else agrees with me(sort of). I am not one of those folks who thinks Michelle is a style icon. I just don't get it. I haved loved the outfits she chooses for the girls, but am left underwhelmed by hers.
It's as if people are so shocked a black women can dress conservatively but not Conodleeza Rice dull, they feel they must praise everything she puts on no matter how boring or unflattering to her figure.
Her make-up for inauguration and the balls was so boring. I'm all for natural but you can do a natural look and be polished. I too am tired to the typical dark brown woman plum shades that show up when she does appear to be wearing make up.She really should take her cues from Oprah on make up, dress, and hair.
Im sorry, but I was really expecting for inauguration day Michelle's hair would be really on point--either up in sleek sophistated bun or freshly done with some good holding spray for a windy cold day. She looked nice but not memorable for anything other than being the first black first lady. However I realize 60 percent of those surveyed seemed to like it according to NBC so I am in the minority.
The girls and daddy looked great though all the way around.

Delightful pic! Thanks.
I predict that Malia will be taller than both her parents. At 10 years of age, she's almost as tall as both of them. Unreal.
