As we all know, the Obama familial quartet boarded the plane to sunny Hawaii for the holidays.

While I freeze my ass off in St. Louis, feel free to enjoy what little I've found so far of the family heading to Hawaii and their arrival this weekend.
They couldn't get out of there soon enough. My sister lived in Chicago for several years and to this day temperatures that would chill a normal person are like a spring day to her.

black snob! i adore this blog! so i live in hawaii and as we know, bho is no dummy, hawaii is the best place to be for Christmas! He did hold up traffic though. But is there a better excuse for being late then, "sorry, President Elect came in and I was stuck in traffic." We love him like we love our kalua pork. . . . maybe even a bit more.

this is so funny because it's true. You have to live in a place with winters like this to understand. Today, the high will be 3. Tomorrow, it will be 23. There is a HUGE difference between 3 and 23. It's the difference between bearable cold, and DAMN, my ass is frozen.
